Hi, I’m Hannah Behrman, LPC.

Hi There! I’m Hannah and I am a Licensed Professional Counselor in Overland Park, KS and the owner of Crescent Bloom Counseling.

I am dedicated to providing a safe, compassionate space for anyone seeking support, healing, and growth. I believe mental health is an essential part of overall well-being and deserves care, understanding, and attention.

I understand how difficult it can be to share personal experiences and sit with uncomfortable emotions. Choosing to begin therapy takes courage, and my goal is to create a space where you feel accepted, supported, and safe to explore your story at your own pace.

My approach is holistic and relational, meeting you where you are while honoring the connection between mind, body, emotions, relationships, and spirit. I believe meaningful change happens through a trusting therapeutic relationship - one rooted in presence, curiosity, and compassion.

Whether you are navigating overwhelming emotions, seeking clarity, or working toward meaningful change, I am here to walk alongside you. Together, we will explore your unique experiences and support your movement toward a life that feels more authentic and fulfilling.

What I Treat:

  • If worry, panic, or constant “what if” thoughts leave you feeling on edge or exhausted, you are not alone. Therapy can be a place to slow down, find steadiness, and reconnect with a sense of safety.

  • When life feels heavy, numb, or overwhelming, you don’t have to carry it by yourself. Together, we can gently explore what you’re experiencing and move toward relief and reconnection.

  • I am passionate about working with and empowering women. Intense emotional and physical shifts can feel confusing and isolating. We offer support, understanding, and tools to help you feel more grounded and supported through these cycles.

  • Intrusive thoughts and compulsive behaviors can feel distressing or shame-inducing. You are not broken - counseling can help you approach these experiences with compassion and clarity.

  • Living with ongoing pain or health concerns can take a toll emotionally and mentally. Therapy provides a space to process, cope, and feel supported in the mind-body experience.

  • Past experiences can continue to shape how you feel, think, and relate. Therapy can move at a pace that feels safe, helping you restore a sense of control, connection, and trust. With my training in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), therapy can allow you to process and heal from traumatic memories.

  • Change, whether chosen or unexpected, can feel destabilizing. Therapy can offer support as you navigate uncertainty, loss, growth, or new beginnings.

  • Whether you’re struggling with communication, boundaries, or emotional closeness, therapy can help you better understand relational patterns and foster healthier connections.

  • If self-doubt, shame, or feeling “not enough” shows up often, therapy can support building self-compassion and a more trusting relationship with yourself.

  • I also enjoy working with therapists, healthcare workers, caregivers, and other helpers who often prioritize others while carrying their own emotional load. You deserve care, too.

    • ADHD

    • Mood Disorders

    • Stress-Related Concerns

    • Other Mental Health Challenges Not Listed Above

If what you are experiencing is not listed here, you are still welcome. Counseling is not about fitting into a category, but about supporting you as a whole person.

My Approach

I believe therapy is most effective when it feels relational, collaborative, and grounded in understanding you as a whole person. I bring warmth, curiosity, and a calm presence to every session, creating a space where you can explore your thoughts, emotions, and experiences safely and without judgment.

My work integrates multiple approaches tailored to your needs:

  • You are the expert in your own life. My role is to provide a supportive, compassionate presence that allows you to be fully seen and heard.

  • We work with the different parts of yourself - your inner voices, emotions, and experiences - to help you understand, organize, and harmonize your internal system.

  • I pay attention to how your body holds stress, tension, and emotion, offering tools and awareness to help you feel grounded, regulated, and present.

  • Together, we explore patterns of thought and behavior, develop practical strategies, and build skills to navigate challenges effectively.

  • This evidence-based approach can help process and resolve past experiences that continue to affect your present, creating space for healing and growth.

  • Psychodynamic therapy explores how past experiences and relational patterns influence thoughts, emotions, and behaviors in the present. By increasing awareness of these patterns, therapy can support deeper insight, emotional healing, and lasting change.
