Many people aren’t sure what to say at first, and that’s completely okay. I’ll respond with next steps and answer any questions so you know exactly what to expect.

Your First Session

Our first meeting is simply a conversation. We’ll go at your pace, talking about what’s been weighing on you, what you’re hoping for, or even just what brought you here today. You’re always in control of how much you share. There’s no pressure to open up all at once—this is a space where you can take your time and feel heard without judgment..

Moving Forward, Together

If it feels like a good fit, we’ll continue meeting and begin to explore what support looks like for you. That might include building coping tools, understanding patterns, or creating space to process your experiences. We’ll check in regularly about what’s helping and adjust as we go. Therapy is a collaborative process, and we’ll move at a pace that feels right for you.

It’s completely normal to feel nervous or unsure about starting therapy. You don’t have to have everything figured out—that’s what this space is for. You’re allowed to show up exactly as you are.
